About Cheddarville Waltz
Holly Gwin composed and arranged Cheddarville Waltz for hammered dulcimer in about 2017.
She was inspired by Three Musettes by Esprit Philippe Chedville, originally written for two musettes, or small bagpipes.
Holly is a life-long musician and plays piano and recorder as well as hammered dulcimer. Gwin studied dulcimer with Maggie Sansone and Karen Ashbrook. In a different time, she supported basic science from a congressional agency and the White House science office. She currently composes and arranges music in her studio in the Southern Appalachians.
